Dr. Jim Wilson specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic pain, occupational and sports related injuries, including back, neck, joint, and nerve disorders as well as musculoskeletal diseases.

Double Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in pain management, Dr. Wilson has been treating pain since 1990. With over 20 years of experience, he has proven himself as highly skilled in the use of state of the art interventional pain techniques. He employs non-surgical minimally invasive treatments for the relief of chronic pain.

Dr. Wilson graduated from The University of Illinois-Abraham Lincoln College of Medicine in Chicago in 1986. In 1990, upon completion of his residency and fellowship at the Michael Reese and The University of Illinois hospitals he initially became a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist. Dr. Wilson found his true love in treating pain. Making people feel better is his passion.

Dr. Wilson is a Lifetime member of American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ISIPP), and a member of International Spinal Injection Society (ISIS) and the American Medical Association (AMA).
